On Sunday 15th December, Brecon Swim Club was represented by 12 swimmers at the annual Newport Christmas Cracker event.
And what a cracking event it turned out to be. PB's were flying everywhere, with some remarkable results from all ages, but especially from Reuben Davies who won a Bronze medal for his 50M Freestle swim and came a very close 4th for 50m backstroke.
Well done Reuben.
Fin Thomas came a very creditable 5th in Freestyle and 9th in Backstroke with Elin Griffiths an impressive 8th in her 50m Butterfly event.
It was an interesting and informative first outing for a number of swimmers who now know what to expect at the neext Swim Meet.
